AIDA exercise: marketing a new game

Task 1
Summarise who might play the game and what platform they will play it on. Give it a title.
People who would want play the game are 7 - 12 year old kids who enjoy adventure and puzzle type games. The platforms that will be available for this game are PS3, PS4, XBOX ONE, XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii U. The game name will be The Gifted One.

Task 2

Use AIDA to plan a 10 minute marketing campaign for the new game:
A: How will you create marketing materials that attract audience attention to the game?
To attract audience I will add a gameplay to the trailer which will be on (TV, YouTube and Phone App etc.) adverts which can get the audience attracted to the advert. I will also put the adverts on the bus and on the bus stop.

I: How will you generate audience interest?

When a person buys a game or a game with the same genre there will be a link to the side under related search and my game will be there then the audience can research about the game and buy it / pre order. And also in your local game store (e.g. Game) There will be a Thrilling gameplay poster on the window.

D: How will you stimulate audience desire to buy the game?

To desire the audience to buy the game we will release amazing demo's or trials and early game plays form IGN ( may make a celebrity play the game and people may want to buy it because they might be a fan of the celebrity ).

A: How will you promote audience action?

I will create my own Facebook page so everyone interested in the game can comment and ask questions, same as twitter but we will also update you (example when its coming out and if the released date has been shifted to a different time) and finally a YouTube channel to show gameplay, sneak peaks and new trailers.
